LAKSH International Schools successfully conducted Student Council Elections across all its branches today, providing students with a valuable opportunity to experience democracy, leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and active participation in school governance.
The elections were organised in a disciplined, fair, and transparent manner. Students enthusiastically participated as candidates, campaigners, election volunteers, and voters. The contestants confidently presented their ideas, shared their vision for their school, and encouraged their fellow students to exercise their right to vote responsibly.
As part of the Student Council Election programme, Chairman Dr. Mohammad Mustaq Ali Khan Sir personally visited the LAKSH Kisannagar Campus and the LAKSH Razvi Chaman Campus. He interacted with the students, observed the election process, appreciated their enthusiastic participation, and conveyed his best wishes to all the candidates and voters.
Chairman Dr. Mohammad Mustaq Ali Khan Sir also connected online with the students and staff of the LAKSH Attapur Campus and the LAKSH Peddapalli Campuses. He extended his heartfelt wishes and encouraged the students to participate with confidence, honesty, discipline, responsibility, and a true spirit of service.
Addressing the students, the Chairman emphasised that leadership is not merely about holding a position or receiving a title. True leadership is about serving others, accepting responsibility, maintaining discipline, respecting different opinions, and becoming a positive example for fellow students.
Through the Student Council Elections, students learned the importance of fair competition, public speaking, decision-making, teamwork, accountability, mutual respect, and accepting election results with dignity.
Students cast their votes for various leadership positions, including Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Vice-Captains, Cultural Leaders, Sports Leaders, Discipline Leaders, and other Student Council responsibilities applicable to each campus.
The Principals, teachers, and administrative teams guided the students throughout the election process and ensured that the elections were conducted smoothly and fairly. The atmosphere across all LAKSH campuses reflected excitement, discipline, confidence, teamwork, and a strong democratic spirit.
The elected Student Council members will work closely with the school leadership and teachers in supporting academic activities, discipline, morning assemblies, cultural programmes, sports events, cleanliness drives, social awareness initiatives, and student welfare programmes throughout the academic year.
