Neat handwriting is more than “good notes”, it improves clarity, boosts confidence, and helps students present their answers better in exams. With that goal, Laksh International School hosted a special handwriting workshop at Royal Garden, Karimnagar, led by Ajaz Ahmed from Siddipet.

About the trainer: Ajaz Ahmed (Siddipet)
Ajaz Ahmed is an educator from Siddipet, Telangana, known for making learning simple and energetic. He runs Shubhodaya Vidyalayam in Siddipet and gained statewide attention after a classroom teaching video went viral online.
He is also known for handwriting training (including across English/Hindi/Telugu) and has written about developing handwriting skills for students.

A fun, high-energy workshop at Royal Garden, Karimnagar
From the start, students were fully engaged, this wasn’t a “sit and listen” session. It was hands-on, interactive, and packed with practical drills that students could apply immediately.
The best part? You could actually see the shift:
more focus, better letter formation, cleaner spacing and a lot of proud smiles.

Key takeaways students practiced
Here are the main areas students worked on during the session:
1) Posture and notebook position
Good handwriting begins with the basics:
- sitting straight and relaxed
- keeping the notebook at a comfortable angle
- using smooth wrist movement (not tight, rushed writing)
2) Pen/pencil grip and pressure control
Many students press too hard without realizing it. Practicing lighter pressure helps:
- reduce hand strain
- improve speed naturally
- keep letters cleaner and more consistent
3) Spacing and alignment
Simple changes made a big difference:
- even spacing between words
- staying on the baseline
- consistent size for letters
4) Letter formation and consistency
Students learned to focus on forming letters the same way every time because consistency is what makes handwriting look “neat.” Ajaz Ahmed is known for teaching writing skills in a clear, student-friendly way.

A simple 10-minute daily practice plan (for students)
Want to keep the improvement going at home? Try this:
- 2 min: warm-up strokes (lines + curves)
- 3 min: slow perfect letters (focus on shape)
- 3 min: one short paragraph (focus on spacing)
- 2 min: rewrite your messiest line neatly
Consistency beats long practice, every single time.

Thank you & proud moments
A big thank you to Ajaz Ahmed (Siddipet) for such an inspiring, student-friendly session, and to everyone who helped make the event smooth and memorable at Royal Garden, Karimnagar. Most of all, well done to our Laksh International School students for participating with energy and confidence.
